Puppies playing safely

Building Confidence for City Life

The first few months of a puppy's life are critical. The "imprinting window" (8 to 16 weeks) is when your dog forms their permanent view of the world. At We Wuff, we offer a specialized socialization program designed to help your puppy navigate the sights, sounds, and hustle of San Francisco with confidence.

This isn't just a free-for-all romp. It is a structured environment where puppies learn appropriate play styles, bite inhibition, and how to read canine body language under the guidance of our professional trainers.

What We Focus On

  • Sensory Exposure: Gentle introductions to new textures (grass, concrete, grates), strange sounds (traffic, vacuums), and new objects (umbrellas, hats).
  • Positive Handling: Getting puppies used to being touched on their paws, ears, and tail to make future vet and groomer visits stress-free.
  • Controlled Play: We match puppies by size and play style to ensure shy pups build confidence and bold pups learn manners.
  • Recall Basics: Reinforcing their name and positive attention behaviors during play sessions.

Safety First

We take puppy health seriously. Our facility uses hospital-grade cleaners, and our Puppy Program is strictly separated from adult dogs. All participants must have at least their first round of DHPP vaccinations and a clean fecal exam to join.
